Fibroblast Tightening
Plasma-based cosmetic treatments have been around for some time. But the “plasma” we’re referring to has nothing to do with the liquid found in your bloodstream.
Plasma refers to a stream of free electrons and positively charged ions. It is created when a gas is heated to a very high temperature.
The molecules in the gas are highly charged, and the molecules split apart to release the ions and electrons. This plasma has been found to offer exceptionally amazing cosmetic benefits and is particularly helpful in battling signs of aging.
This is the method of fibroblast tightening. The tiny burns that develop superficially cause your old dermal cells and skin proteins to disintegrate.

A therapeutic massage can include reflexology, which uses pressure points to reduce tension or a neuromuscular massage that helps decrease chronic pain. Hot stone massages use smooth, heated stones that are warm to the touch but will not burn you, to increase blood flow and reduce inflammation. Most massages aren’t painful. However, deep tissue massages apply more pressure than other types and can cause consumers discomfort the next day. It’s essential to tell the massage therapist about any injuries or conditions that can interfere with or may not be appropriate for massage, such as,
- Fractures
- Bleeding disorders
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Wounds, incisions, and burns that are still healing
- Severe osteoporosis
It’s okay to eat a light meal before your massage, but you should avoid heavy lunches or dinners near the appointment time. Spa guests should also avoid excessive alcohol use the night before and day of the massage to prevent dehydration and heighten their benefits.
